to the
FRANKFORT LIGHTHOUSE
RESTORATION PROJECT
Located on the north breakwater of the harbor in Frankfort, Michigan, the Frankfort Light has been a beacon of guidance since its construction in 1912.
This historic lighthouse, honored with a place on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005, was acquired by the City of Frankfort in 2011 through the National Historic Lighthouse Preservation Act.
The FLRP and the City of Frankfort are committed to preserving our iconic structure, which represents our rich maritime heritage.
